Why do Londoners completely cover all the windows in their houses with white curtains? It looks like they’re all uninhabited or haunted houses or something!

Why did he always have this sort of, weird, messianic idea of what he thinks God has told him to do? Is this why he was so clear eyed about Al Qaeda and the Islamic fundamentalist enemy? Did he understand them because he was just like them? Is this why he dispenses with people who confront him with inconvenient facts, as he truly believed to be on a mission from God?
Is this the proof that faith like that overwhelms a need for analysis?
I don’t understand why some questions get resolved very quickly and others drag on for weeks. I know that some questions get resolved by the Asker, but others just appear to go into voting after a few days and others just seem to stay open for weeks. What is going on? How does the system work?

Why are certain fish OK to eat and others not so good as hunting them will somehow harm the species?
I visited a market recently and saw they had a special on Mahi Mahi. I asked where it had been caught and was told Peru. I remembered the lack of governmental regulations in Peru harm the populations by allowing over harvesting but can’t recall why US brands are OK to eat.
This happens not only on youtube but in other places where I can watch videos. The screen becomes completely white and I have to press escape and get out of full screen to make it return to normal. Why is this? Is it a virus?
It always gets green under there before it gets green anywhere else on the lawn. Also, the grass grows quicker and becomes longer faster than the rest of the lawn. Why is this, when the trampoline provides shade? I live in Alta, Norway, and it’s not very hot, but it’s allright:)
If it’s the shade, does that mean that grass grows better with less sunlight?
Is it in their genes, or what?
Because you see people who genuinely don’t care what people think and emit so much confidence, and they’re all up in your grillz, and you’re just like, get out my face.
But anyway, yes, why is that?
Why is effective communication important? How do we solve problems as a group? How do we solve problems as an individual?
He’s about 5 months old. When he’s around me he’s placid (well, relatively) and just sorta snuggles up against me. He only really jumps around when i play with him
When he’s around other people, such as my dad, he gets excited, jumpy, he nips and them and makes lots of noise. He only does this with me when i get home after school or work.
Why?
I have realized that americans don’t watch soccer, ever. Only when there is a big tournament like the World Cup. I want to know why.
