Why is marijuana illegal when cigarettes and alcohol are much worse?

I used to smoke marijuana, and I am confused why, after all of the scientific study, why marijuana has remained illegal when tobacco is so much worse, and alcohol is so much worse. Marijuana is nowhere near as addictive, and is in no way destructive to the body.

Why Muslim man can maryy a christian or jewish woman but a muslim woman cant marry a christian or jewish man?

I don’t get the whole Twitter fad. Who cares about the minuscule details of a random person’s life? Why do people care so much on Twitter, yet no one cares about anyone in their own neighborhoods and communities anymore. Everyone just walks around with their noses in their iphones and don’t even bother to look up and say "hi" to people they know.

Why are the leaves on my flamingo flower plant turning brown in spots?

About 2 months ago I was given a Flamingo Flower plant. It had a brown spot on it and I didn’t do anything about it and that was that. Now a few other leaves have gotten brown spots in the past few days and I do not know why. The brown spots are dry and crunchy; I water it regularly and I don’t think that I am over watering it. It gets indirect sunlight through out the day. Why might this be happening?

Why area bunch of conservatives who are not experts allowed to change educational textbooks?

The members of the Texas board of education are elected officials. They are not historians, economists, theologians, or scientists. What makes them qualified to rewrite text books to reflect their own narrow ideology instead of what historians, scientists, theologians, and economists have written.

Isn’t it indoctrination when you force your ideological perspective on children? Isn’t that exactly what they are forcing the children of Texas to do?

For example, They are replacing the word "capitalist" with "free market system". Those two things are completely different. They are removing Thomas Jefferson as influential in the formation of the USA because of his views on the separation of church and state.

Is this what happens when conservatives are allowed to run things?

Question:
Why are a bunch of non-professional ideologues allowed to override hundreds of years history, science, and economics in order to perpetuate their own narrow beliefs.

These subjects have been unchanged for over 100 years, why are non-professionals allowed to change this.

Why is the scientific reason why I am attracted the butts and breasts of girls?

I am a 17 year old guy, and I love the bodies of girls. I don’t know what the evolutionary reason is why I particularly like the breasts and butts of girls above other body parts, though. Ford and GM are publicly traded companies and their stock is subject to impact average Americans and their retirement plans. I don’t agree with a bail out, but I see why they are at the table begging. I can’t believe no Senator or Representative in either of these trips to Washington asked Chrysler why they were there also. They are a private firm held by a private company that has plenty of money. If they need money shouldn’t they just ask the parent company for it? Are we really going to give a few billion dollars to a hand full of guys that already have a few billion dollars in the bank?

Why do shows cancel even when the ratings are high?

I know the cost of commercials is determined by the length and the ratings but why do good shows cancel even with a high rating. Wolverine and the X-Men had an average of 3,000,000 viewers. So why is it canceling? They reported about financial issues but the show must have made a lot of money from its first season.
