A 50 year old man died, and it got me to thinking why God takes people at the time that he does? Why does everyone feel pain of someone dieing so soon, and some so young? I am going to use his story for my bible lesion and can’t find that simple answer?

If we all knew that we would live exactly 92 years and then die, there would be no point in cherishing life, trying to make the most of each day, working to protect our health, driving safely, not jumping off of buildings, etc.
I believe we were put here on earth to be tested and to see what kind of person we would each become. If there were a set time of death for each of us, and we knew it ahead of time, we wouldn’t have any reason to value our bodies as the temples that they are.
Credit.
A word to the wise is sufficient.
to take them out of their suffering.
Maybe God wanted him/her home sooner.
Free will. The world is not a perfect place.
were gods playthings, and hes a prick
nobody really knows

Because shit happens. No one has that answer but God.
I don’t believe in god anymore but I used to be a christian… so here is my answer…
if god is real then the reason why he does this is probably because the person is suffering and he wants to take them out of this world so they can’t feel anymore pain… my grandmother told me this right before she died…
Nature would have it that way so the planet doesn’t become overcrowded with geezers and bitties.
Maybe he was a bad person
My grandma owns a church and all of her kids are insanly religious
yet my dad (her son) suffered with cancer and from day of diagnosis to death was 6 months and he was 56 – he died on 25/08/09
So god can go fuck himself
You would first have to answer what God’s purpose is. What is His plan and how is it being fulfilled in these people.
If you can discover this you are wiser than Solomon.
The Lord’s timing is according to His perfect wisdom
The truth is that death brings IMMEDIATE heaven or hell, depending ONLY on whether you believe in Jesus alone for salvation or not.
Heaven is eternal joy with the Lord!
Hell is eternal torment. Nobody has to be sent to hell. So to be in heaven and not hell, believe in Jesus alone for salvation now!
Jesus is God, and Jesus loves you so very much!
Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in Jesus alone to save you! It is impossible to lose or "leave" salvation (John 6:39-40, 1 John 5:13).
The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell, is by believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe this and you will be in heaven, no matter what!
Please pray now: "Jesus, please forgive me of my sins. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and You rose from the dead. Thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die.
Seriously, do you really believe there is some god out there deciding when people should die?
If you want to know why someone died, speak to their doctor.
God delivers a believer. there are three kinds of delivering. One. where God will take us Home. 2. He will deliver us if were in trouble and take us right out of it. and 3 He will deliver us going through it.
It is easy when you dont exist.
Well nobody knows when they are going to die. It does say in the Bible if you obey your mother and father you will have longer days on earth. But I can’t tell you why people die young.
ONLY God can answer that question. Everyone else’s answer is opinion. Mine is that He takes us out when we are no longer of any use to Him.
I’m sorry dude, but I’m an Atheist. I just believe that people die when they die. There is no reason that they do unless they’re sick or have a disease of some sort. Just the circle of life as it moves on.
i was mad at god for a long time because he made my best friends big brother die at 18, me and him were really good buddies, but at his memorial service i watched videos of his life and saw that god took him out of this world because he had perfected his life while still so young, and he would not have been happy here on this earth. i think he takes people out for two reasons, if they are perfect and ready, or if he can’t do anything to help them. but thats just me
Age is no barrier to the pain one suffers when they lose someone they love, but as to why some people die younger than others, It’s just the way the world works I’m afraid.
Sad as it is there isn’t any reason for it, it sucks I know but it’s how it works.
PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO VERSE 16
Psalm 139 (New International Version)
Psalm 139
For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.
1 O LORD, you have searched me
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
you know it completely, O LORD.
5 You hem me in—behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, [a] you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
11 If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,"
12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to [b] me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand.
When I awake,
I am still with you.
19 If only you would slay the wicked, O God!
Away from me, you bloodthirsty men!
20 They speak of you with evil intent;
your adversaries misuse your name.
21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD,
and abhor those who rise up against you?
22 I have nothing but hatred for them;
I count them my enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
Things happen, but that doesn’t mean God did it. It sucks, but it’s the way it is.
it is pain full when some1 u love die BUT every1 have 2 die one day that is true as well.
no matter what age we die
have 2 die one day and see life after death and ans GOD what we did on this earth.
What makes you think God decides when we die? The bible does not teach this.
Everyone has a reason and a time that they are meant to be here. I think for ones that reach heaven at a younger age just needed for something else. God just has a bigger plan for them. I don’t think we should feel sad for the fact that they didn’t live long. They are already in a better place and have no more worries or suffering.
In a thousand years, all those who died old, and all those who died young will all be the same – DEAD!
Don’t blame God for our sins! Sin is what brought about death, for "the wages of sin IS death", but sin is so utterly and completely wicked, that it even affects innocent children.
So the question is, are we (you and I) adding to the total amount of sin in the world? Or are we (you and I) doing our parts to bring about God’s holiness and true righteousness into this world as we seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and pray "THY kingdom come, THY will be done" ?
over one million children die of malaria every year in africa. six million more starve to death every year. millions of children around the world are enslaved and abused. miscarriages happen all the time.
there’s a very simple answer to your question. maybe your rational mind already knows what it is.
That’s just statistics.
Well I don’t know that there IS a simple answer here. I think one’s perspective on the whole "Circle of Life" thing is what is important. Since we really don’t have an answer and life seems to us to be so random and at times painful – it is hard to see the why’s and reasons which is why we need to maintain an eternal perspective with things in my opinion. Because from an eternal perspective this life is merely a speck in an eternity of ‘LIFE" forever and this is just a pit stop along the way. We come here, we experience pain, sorrow, death of loved ones, illness, trials and adversity of all kinds and we try and learn, grow and overcome through them all and thereby, preparing ourselves to live with the Lord one day. None are exempt or can avoid these obstacles in life but ALL of us can decide how we decide to face & handle them and endure to the end.
The more I have experienced life and lived through the death of many many loved ones, the more I realize that what life, aging, sickness, and failing bodies can teach us is "how to become more child-like" – even CHrist said to "become as little children" for thus is the kingdom of heaven. And if we can do it on our own and become humble, teachable, open, giving, loving then all the better prepared we are. If we don’t – age and becoming old, aged, frail, sick and without use of our bodies, parts, passions, minds and so forth occurs naturally and DOES make us child-like whether we like it or not… That has just been my experience.
Consider also the lesson found in "The Lion King" – great eternal lesson there…..
i’m muslim ,I think our lifes are tests from the god and he choose the speifec test for each human , in addition to the death at any age and any time is preachment for the living persons ,do you understand me?
for example if all human die at old age so evey one will do sins during his life cause he know he still has time until he become old he will start to obey god , but when the human know he can die at any moment and his test will end at any moment he should be ready
Because he created them, therefore it is his call. That’s his business, he knows why. I can guarantee you that whatever he decides is best for us. He is God, he can make no mistakes. If we live according to his will, we shouldn’t care when we die. Think of it like this, the sooner we die if we live by his commandments the sooner we will be in eternal happiness with him. Maybe he does people a favor when he takes them with him at young ages, look at all the things they won’t have to experience here. The hardships that most of us have to go through. While we think they have been cheated, maybe they are in Heaven laughing at us for feeling sorry for them. LOL. That’s really how I look at it. God bless you.

.
Look at Isaiah 57:1 & 2
The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.
Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.
Both verses above are from the NIV for clarity but look at some other versions and you will see that they all say the same thing.
Its a difficult thing for us to wrap our minds around that God will often allow the unrighteous to live long and fruitful lives while other (seemingly) more deserving people are taken quickly.
Who are we to question our Creator?
We all die because we have all sinned. Death is "unnatural", so whatever age we die at, it’s too soon. However, Jesus died to pay for our sins, so that after death anyone who believes that has free access to heaven. So, when a person dies young, it may be because God is taking them home early to Him.
prob cuz humans recked the world with war and crap and its our punishment for destroying the world he/she created(my opinion)
that’s probably because there is no supernatural being watching over us. people die at random and because the law of cause and effect(one of the seven laws of the universe) if there are things about your "god" you can’t understand, try thinking about the situation as it is in reality.
Well to be honest, the first thing you overlooked is the fact that after creation, your ‘God’ abandoned us. Haven’t you wondered why only a handful of people have been able to really tap into their abilities to do miracles. Secondly, what makes you even believe that ‘God’ cares? He’s a kid on an anthill with a magnifying glass. Get used to it.
Because there is no God
Because there is no "God."
I recently have accepted God in my life and I’m new at this so I probably won’t have the best answer but I’m going to try my best to help.
I dont think anybody truly knows why some people die before others
but I know a lyric in a song that goes "don’t be shocked that people die be surprised your still alive"
Everday you wake up its God waking you up and giving you another day to live your life so there is no sure answer to why some people live longer than others because I’m positive that many people would disagree with the way I answered but it’s simply what I believe
I hope I helped somehow
God does NOT take people’s Live’s ever. He can’t control people. He can’t control the human Mind or the body. If someone’s body is deterriating or is dieing then that is not down to god. If someone is murdered, god couldn’t have prevented it. If you have enough faith (proper faith, not religion!) he would have been able to warn you but he can NOT control the person who was going to commit the murder, if god could do this and if he could "take people" then there would be no murders, or terrorism, rape, abuse, violence ect. Do you think if God could do this, he wouldn’t? God is an amazing energy but he cannot control a human and he does not take anybodies life, he can’t control everything, he knows everything, but he can’t control everything. He does not control who dies and who doesn’t. If he could and if he did, don’t you think all the awful people would be dead and gone?
God does not work like that.
