Why do schools start so much earlier in the south?

Just about everywhere in North America, Europe, Asia etc schools start in the first or second week September. In the southern US, schools start either Aug 3rd or Aug 10th.

Why is this? Why do schools start in the middle of summer there? What is the reasoning behind this?

because down south it gets hotter earlier then up north and since you closer to the equator it stays a lot hotter for the summer and most of the fall too, but you can’t stay out until it gets cold or else you’ll be back in school in like november.
