why would someone just toss a puppy out? why wouldn’t they want a puppy?

Why???????
Wrestlers use different tactics when gaining heat from fans. Many have mastered the art of being a heel, but some don’t always make the cut. There are two main opportunities for a wrestler to show off their "mean streak". So when given the following two opportunities, what tactics must a wrestler pull off to be a successful heel?
1) During a match -What must he or she do?
2) While cutting a promo – What must he or she say?
Everyone I’m sure has seen Vampire Weekend’s new album cover for Contra. Why such a fuss? Why do people think a blonde girl in a polo shirt makes a political statement?

Question:Why are committees and sub committees important? How are they structured and why does the structure matter?
When a certain material is illuminated with visible light, electrons jump from lower to higher energy states in atoms of the material. When illuminated by ultraviolet light, atoms are ionized as some of them eject electrons. Why do the two kinds of illumination produce such different results?
I posted this in "religion" and got a bunch of opinions as answers. I’m looking for an actual date in history for when the Catholic church stopped having the power to wage wars across continents (with the Muslims for example – and others). And when did it stop having the ability to make laws that European nations abided by? Thanks for any help.

Why do almost all packaged foods say "may contain traces of peanuts?" WHY peanuts? I was always curious to know what the reason may be..

Why is the ability to solve problems important in the study of chemistry? Why is that that the METHOD used to attack a problem is as important as the answer to the problem itself?
Why do conductors of major symphony orchestras have ‘rehearsal conductors’ ? That is, I have noticed that noted conductors do not regularly rehearse with their ensemble, but let someone else do the rehearsing. Then the regular conductor steps up to the podium on performance night, and at the end takes all the bows. Why ?
