well, after watching movies and reading books concerning the well-known vampires[not twilight..almost hated it], i realised that i really like this vampiric "thing". so i am wondering if you could recommend me movies or better books in order to learn about these beings, old legends etc

I love reading romance novels, especially vampire romance novels. I have read the twilight saga(all 4), queen of the damned, interview with a vampire. I didn’t really like the books that true blood was based off of, but i still read some of them. Anyways now i am looking for another book to read about vampire romance or just romance, but i prefer ones about vampires. Can you help me, please?
I have deep green eyes, should I go for interview with a vampire lestat or louis color eyes? Or should I go for Twilight amber-gold? Should I go for white out or crystal blue, or may be blood red?
I am just curious as to what other people’s favorite vampire books are. My favorite is Interview with a Vampire by Anne Rice because I found Louis a very interesting yet depressing character.
Please don’t put Twilight. I do not view those things known as the Cullens as vampires. They are an insult to every other vampire written through out the history of vampire literature.
