I’m just wondering if anyone else has this happen to them. I have a really terrible head cold right now, and whenever I blow my nose, my nasal congestion gets 10x worse. It’s pretty much better to just sit here and suck it up, because I can actually breathe then! Does anyone have an explanation for this?

I’m writing a novel and want it to be realistic – not cheap Hollywood theatrics. I’m assuming the station wouldn’t blow up because of some kind of protective equipment between the pump & the tank in the ground, plus an explosion would be caused by fumes, which would probably be isolated by a valve or something.

We have a room full of computers that creates a lot of heat. It is to cool to turn on the air conditioner so we have a ceiling fan on and the windows open but the room is still warm. My husband wants to blow the hot air out of the room and I think it makes more sense to blow cool air from the other room in. Which is better?
