Why dont they go to a tattoo shop and get it done?
Why would people want to pierce a part of their body without properly getting it done by someone who knows how to pierce?
And save the thought of it getting in infected etc.??

I know you have to be an apprentice in a tattoo shop for quite some time, and obviously you have to be good at tattooing..but how do you actually learn how to tattoo, or where can you learn? What else does it take to become one?

I’m a black guy and I’ve been wanting to get a color tattoo. I want the colors to be silver and black. I’ve always been told by friends that color tattoos dont work well with black guys, however I’ve never been to a tattoo shop and asked an artist. This will be my last if I can get it so I want to know if it will fade or what.

Yeah. Because like my friend said that tattoos at the convention are really cheap but really good compared to a tattoo shop.

Okay so i went in to a tattoo shop about 3 weeks ago the artist was going to draw up my tat for me and he told me it wouldn’t take that long, and as i said it has been about 3 weeks. how long should it usually take. i want to call to see what is taking so long but first i want to know if this is normal.

Ok, so I am planning on getting this gorgeous tat which will extend from right below my knee to my ankle on my outer calf. It has many many different colors and is filled with butterflies and fairies. I know It will be expensive, but I was wondering if anyone could give me a broad idea of how much it will cost and how long a very colorful and large tattoo typically takes so I’m not completely shocked when I walk in to the tattoo shop.
Ok, and also I am not worried about how it will look to others, so that is not an issue. And this is not my first tat, I have two others, but they are not this big. This will be my first big one.

I draw well, and my friend recommended me to a tattoo shop where they are looking for a tattoo artist (I hope I’m using the correct term- I mean the person who designs the tattoos and draws them, not the one who actually tattoos you).
What are this job’s requirements, artistically and practically? Do you need to improvise on the spot, or can you design it over a period of time?

So yea, I am looking for the best tattoo shop with the best quality in the Dallas metroplex based on user opinions and experiences. I would appreciate serious responses please, I know of some good shops around my area but I would like to know what the favorite is amongst the D/FW tattooed! Thanks!

On LA Ink, one of the workers told the new girl that is was a tattoo shop not a tattoo parlor, so I want to know what the difference is?
