Tattoo And Piercing Information

I think a plain, undecorated body is much more attractive than an "altered" one, But apparently, I am in the minority.
It just seems more trendy than anything.
I hate those navel things. and tattoos are just way overdone these days, I think

I really want to pierce my ear but I dont have money so I want to do it myself.

assuming there’s no modifications to my car at the moment

My cousin just found out she’s pregnant, but she’s worried because when her best friend died, she got a tattoo on her lower abdomen in commemoration of her. She’s worried that when the baby grows and she’s nine months pregnant, if the tattoo will be damaged. Also, will the ink hurt the baby?

I’ve done all the piercings I have myself, they have never been infected, I have professional sterile needles [I use them once and throw them away]. Well I have a 12g needle, and a 14g horseshoe. But I’m not sure exactly where in my nose you pierce it. Any pictures, details, would be great!

Btw, don’t tell me not to do it, I’ll ignore your answer.

The tattoo i want is of chinese letters. Its the first one but i dont want to regret it later in life. If you have tattoos do u regret getting them?

God in the OT and Paul in the NT both agree that that is sinful. So why do modern Christians get body modifications and no one bats an eye? Everything from the most innocent of ear piercings to tattoos and beyond. Does that mean modern Christians are more lax and the Bible doesn’t apply anymore or has God changed his mind on the subject since it was written?
I personally don’t think they are wrong if they are done tastefully. Then again I’m not Christian.

In the Bible, God does say it is wrong, while many Christians are very lax on it and defy it point blank. Why is this? Who gives the individual the authority to pick and choose what is right vs wrong in their own religious texts when God clearly says "do not do this!"?

And don’t give me any of that "don’t do it" or "it’ll get infected" or "my cousin died from it" or "it’s better if you use a professional" or any of that junk. Just give me sep by step instructions on how to pierce my belly button by myself.

I would like a simple tattoo that symbolizes protection, like protecting others, sacrificing ones self for others, etc. Please help me.

I’ve been thinking about getting a body piercing or other form of minor body art/modification, but I can’t think many good ideas for a male. Navel piercings usually carry an effeminate connotation. Nipple rings sound kind of cool, but maybe a bit extreme for my persona. I’d rather not have something to obvious on my face, but I’m open to all suggestions.
If it matters at all, know that I’m not really much of a scene type of guy. Snakebites look kind of neat, but I would probably fail horrifically at pulling them off. That’s why I was leaning more towards body piercings.

Still, other insight is always welcome.
