I have noticed since switching to vegetarianism, I do not get gas. Or if I do have "the farts," they dont smell at all, is basically like air. I know this may be a gross question but I was wondering if this has anything to do with my new diet or just coincidence?

A healthy digestive tract functioning optimally digesting healthy vegetarian foods that sweep the colon clean are not likely to produce gas. even when ingesting/digesting beans, Wonderful isn’t it?
Transit time. Wholesome food travels quickly through the "G.I" tract, leaving little time to spoil, thus not creating gas and incite disease within the body.
I think I fart about the same, but I notice that my farts never smell. However, a lot of people notice that they are very gassy when they switch to vegetarianism. The body has to get used to the extra fiber. If you’re less gassy as a vegetarian, consider yourself lucky.
maybe I’m doing something wrong… because I tear it up long and strong. Sometimes I even clear myself out of the room.
Means your digestion is good and/or you are not mixing foods improperly for poor digestion.
When I eat well, from my garden etc. I still have gas from time to time, but nothing like when I eat highly cooked food or processed foods etc. Basically, the more processed a food is, the more deep fried it it, the more different foods I mix together, and adding sugar makes more gas.
When I switched to being vegan, I actually had too much gas. First, it was all new food to me. I was eating lots of processed foods (basically anything I could find in my parent’s kitchen) and it wasn’t the best diet. I found that sugar was the biggest contributor, and next was mixing foods that shouldn’t be eaten together, and then such things as white vinegar etc.
