The guards in the Nazi death camps were over 90% Christian (mostly Lutheran and RC), and Christian religious services were held regularly in death camps. Death camp duty was voluntary and very popular as staff were unlikely to get killed or injured. The were other perks, like the sexual slavery of non-Jewish woman prisoners. This was the last major mass killing of Jews by Christians in a series that date backs to at least 414CE (Alexandria Egypt). Until recent times, Jewish and Christian, minorities were safe and protected in Islamic countries, but there have been many mass murders of Jews in most Christian countries of the old world, and most of these were instigated by clerics or monks. Was the motive for these crimes a Christian perception that the Jews murdered Christ? Was it because the Jews refused to accept Christ or is there some other reason? There is a tendency to blame the Nazi’s for the holocaust but this apologist stance ignores the facts that most Nazi’s were Christian and the Christian tradition of murdering Jews goes went back over 1500 years.

The book I am looking for was published in the early 90’s (i think) it starts off with a mass murder in a church/cathedral and the murderers steal the skulls of the the Three Wise Men. The story continues following the point of view of the Spec-Ops team that is tasked to bring the murderers to justice. In the story there is a lot of history of the of the early Jews, and the history and uncommon usage of gold. It follows the same type of conspiracy format of the Da Vinci Code.

And when you think of it, Hitler was not a mass murder at the time, the extermination of the Jews didn’t begin until 1942, while Stalin had doomed off 30 million from 1934-39. Sure Hitler mistreated the Jews during the 30’s, but the high volume extermination didn’t begin until after the Wansee Conference in Jan ‘42.

and are respected by islam. islamic scholars believe that both the torah and bible came from allah, but they were corrupted by the jews and christians over time. while neither testament calls for mass murder of non-believers, the quran does. could it be possible that the quran itself was corrupted by muslims over the last 1,400 years.

I’m doing about this at 6th form and i find it so interesting – i like the idea that the gassings started individually in the ghettos to deal with overcrowding – as it was used more and more and it seemed to work well – the decision was then taken at the top to do it on a larger scale. In the 20th century alone, over 50 million people were slaughtered by godless leaders.

Adolph Hitler, Nazi atheist (not a Catholic by any means), murdered six million Jews because of their religion and possibly 3 million more people who were gypsies, minorities, handicapped, and homosexual.

Josef Stalin, Communist, massacred over 20 million people under his dictatorship.

Mao Tse Tung, Chinese atheist, murdered up to 23 million people under his atheism.

Phol Pot , Cambodian, killed over 3 million people under his atheistic regime.

WARS STARTED IN THE NAME OF RELIGION PALE BY COMPARISON.

The crimes of atheism have generally been perpetrated through a hubristic ideology that sees man, not God, as the creator of values. Using the latest techniques of science and technology, man seeks to displace God and create a secular utopia here on earth. Of course if some people – the Jews, the landowners, the unfit, or the handicapped – have to be eliminated in order to achieve this utopia, this is a price the atheist tyrants and their apologists have shown themselves quite willing to pay. The 20th Century was been plagued by Genocide, Mass Murder and Ethnic Cleansing i need to look for common factors and possible solutions.
First, The Turkish Genocide against the Armenians, The Nazi Holocaust against the Jews, The Khmer Rouge in Cambodia, Ethnic Cleansing in Bosnia and Kosovo, Genocide in Rawanda and the Darfur.

What were the reasons for killing Jews that he told the Nazis convinced them to kill them?
