Serial Killers

I know people are going to say I am over generalizing. But Muslim groups are responsible for many mass murders, especially in Muslim dominated nations and governments. I know other faiths still resort to violence, including Christianity in certain locations but Muslims definitely seem to be the most militant. Like the south park think is so retarded, the group who made those threats should all have a group hug in the shower and cry like the little babies they are.
Oh by the way just so people don’t call me a hypocritical Christian, I’ll have you know I am not Christian.
Wow like I said I am not Christian, I know Christians have a terrible history. I am Pagan so I realize this, obviously since Pagan groups were the Catholic churches main targets.

and are respected by islam. islamic scholars believe that both the torah and bible came from allah, but they were corrupted by the jews and christians over time. while neither testament calls for mass murder of non-believers, the quran does. could it be possible that the quran itself was corrupted by muslims over the last 1,400 years.

In reading the christians answers–they boil down to the same logic an abusive husband uses–YOU MADE ME BEAT YOU!! And the "brussel sprout" argument has no merit–for in the xtians on book in genesis–it says god created man in his image–and later on infers that after eating of the tree man had the same ability as god to understand–therefore your mythical god was quite cognizant that he was killing intelligent beings patterned after himself–yet another psychotic aspect of this monster.

To Sarevok: I’m a strict atheist for good reason. I myself was born as a heterosexual and that was not a choice. You can choose between killing and not killing but not between homosexuality and heterosexuality. I just wanted to point out the absurdity of religion..

When nobody seems eager to point out that most people who gain national fame for committing far more horrendous crimes, like mass murder for example, are Christians?
Meg M–no, that is not true. Does anyone recall the media focusing on Ted Bundy’s religious affiliation? How about those Columbine High School murderers? Think of all the mass murderers that have been in the headlines over the last 20 years or so. Never was their religion mentioned, not even once.
Meg–the example you provide is most unusual because it took place in the context of a Christian celebration. Of course the murderer’s religious affiliation would be focused on in this particular crime because its religious context. Can you provide any other examples where the crime did not take place in a religious context and the media (or people here) focused on the religion of the criminal except in the case of Bernie Madoff?
e.w. Why would "the religion of one of the biggest ‘alleged’ thieves of our times" be of interest whereas the religion of the biggest mass murderers of our times not be of interest? I certainly don’t remember hearing ANYTHING AT ALL in the 1970’s about Ted Bundy’s religion before, during, or after his trail or when he was executed and it was only just a few minutes ago after I did an internet search to find out his religion that I learned he was a Mormon. Same for Jeffrey Dahmer–I don’t recall ever hearing anything about his religion and I only just a few minutes ago found out he was brought up in a devout Church of Christ household. My point is that Bundy’s and Dahmer’s religious affiliations were totally irrelevant then and they are totally irrelevant now. But Bernie Madoff, thanks to the media and lots of people here on Yahoo!answers–everybody knows he is Jewish. What’s going on here? I don’t recall any mention that the man who caused the ENRON mess was a Christian, do you?
e.w. Of course people of all religions commit crimes, etc. But for some reason, many people, yourself included, only think their religion needs to be focused on when they are Jewish. Do I detect some bigotry here?

Christians worship God, but according to the bible he was the reason millions of people die, Noah’s ark drowned the whole world. Moses he killed all the guards who chased the people in the sea.

Ive talked to many christians that say if you are christian you go to heaven even if you kill someone. Also, i know that the people that promote the bible in public schools do not read the bible themselves. what gives? oh and for you cheecky christians out there im a a mix of daoist/Astrau/greek pagan diest (beleives God created world then left it to its own devices.)

is that a sign of their superior god given morals?

i really do not understand how anyone can support the killing of pregnant woman babies and mass murder, or why they would want to associate themselves with anything that did that, even a deity?

if someone was to do those things in the name of god because god told them a certain group of people were evil, would they think it was still ok?

and they wonder why non christians have such a low opinion of them and their beliefs.
