If Jesus was not God himself, then YES.
Since Jesus IS God Himself, then NO.
Those who have died physical deaths and had relationship with Jesus Christ, left a messed up earth to go to the place where we were meant to enjoy.

Jesus taught to live a life of Honesty.
Jesus taught that he is equal to God.
Was Jesus lying?

Had not Jesus resurrected, all martyrs would go to hell.
Had not Jesus resurrected, thousands of devout Jews wouldn’t have converted.
Had not Jesus resurrected, the NT wouldn’t have been mass preserved in spite of death and persecution.
Had not Jesus resurrected, humans would have to earn their way to heaven.
Had not Jesus resurrected, the Pharisees wouldn’t need to kill Christians to cover it up.

Jesus didn’t kill his followers, the world and anti-Christians did.

Those folks lost their earthly lives…………
They are alive & well with Christ in heaven now.
And I’ll be there too, someday

He didn’t kill anyone, so no.
February 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
No, but his followers were. Jesus was actually a pretty cool guy if he actually lived.
February 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
No he saves them.
February 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
That’s true. More blood has been spilled in the name of Christ than for any other name.

Well, I can say that i will kill you in the name of Bill Gates. Does that make Bill Gates the murderer or me?

Don’t worry Papa Joe. Everyone knows he’s just a piker in the muder dept. compared to you.
Besides, they can’t really tally the deaths against JC personally. He didn’t instruct anyone to kill in his name.

No, God was.

No, deluded people are responsible for these atrocities
February 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
I think more people have been killed in the name of a God or Gods rather than Jesus Christ.
February 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
No, because God owns the Universe, and God can do what he wants with what He owns.

And 10 times that number to Muhammad, but you won’t have the man hood to mention that will you?

If Jesus and the father really are the same being, then yes, because God brutally killed damn near every man, woman, child, baby, puppy, and kitten on the earth with his flood.

In his name, not at his hand. But I would say, Mr. Stalin, YOU are certainly up there as one of the biggest mass murderers.
February 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
close I suppose–but then he had learned from a pro–remember–his dad committed mass murder on a planetary scale.

Not Jesus but the Churches are the biggest mass murders in history. Every one goes on about Hitlers Holocausts, killing 6 million Jews. But turn a blind eye and totally ignore the countless billions of indigenous people that have had genocide committed on them since the word go by the Churches.
And they are still doing it, right now.

Practicing Shaman… quantum physics rocks
That’s right theists, carry on turning your blind eye to your mass murdering churches.

No. Jesus of Nazareth never killed anyone except maybe that other little kid. But he resurrected him so He gets a do-over on that one and the kid said he didn’t kill him after being resurrected.
But Jesus’ followers? Whoa! Yes. The Holy Roman Catholic Church rivals even you oh great soviet leader!
February 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
Millions? Prove it.
Jesus never commanded anyone to kill another person. In fact one day the disciples asked Him if they could send fire down on Samaritans but Jesus rebuked them and told them that they didnt know what spirit they were of for the Son of Man (Jesus) did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.
Men of course means men and women.
So you think that cause some people claimed they are Christians and went around slaughtering people…that makes Jesus guilty?
Are you for real?
Let me put it this way
What you think if someone went around and started raping little boys and girls and then claimed to be your follower? Then imagine someone blamed their wicked actions on you and you be like I never told them to do that!
So put the blame where it belongs.
Jesus never killed anyone nor commanded such.
This question is extremely illogical.

he was not a murder!
he saved people and broght them to heaven. he also never said that anyone HAD to follow him and his teachings, everyone that follows him does it because they want to and they love him.
February 7th, 2010 at 8:51 pm
I’m atheist but…
Jesus supposedly did not ask these people to follow him, but they did and died in his honor. But, they did it in their own Free will, and Jesus and God granted them the back-stage passes to Heaven.

…
millions of people have lost their "SANITY" due to his name

Most religions have murdered and tortured, in the name of their particular god.
Christians don’t have any monopoly on it. Jews spent much of the Old Testament killing, in the name of their religion. Christians killed others for centuries—-as in the Crusades.
Muslims have also been killing others for centuries.
Other religions also, the so-called pagan religions—this has been going on for probably about ten thousand years.
Almost all religions try for world domination, and to force others to believe as they do.
It’s very tiresome, isn’t it?
