why do the abortion people want the tax payer to fund this mass murder?
I can go with individual chioce to kill , privacy and all that garbage, but why reach into my pocket for the funds . why dont all the baby killers unite and set up a fund for that. leave tax dollars out of it.

I agree.. it’s simply governmental funded murder. Ya know they claim the mother has the right to do what ever she chooses with HER body which is fine, BUT it’s not HER body that is being murdered. It’s the baby’s.
buck… BTW explain to me how something can be living BUT NOT alive? and just because people are poor it does not force them to have babies, they have the same options as everyone else with birth control.. The problem is we do offer funding to the poor for babies so they see this as a golden egg.. Stop the funding.. and watch the poverty birth rate go down.

A lot of Liberal policies seem reasonable at the beginning and there are reasonable sounding explanations for why the state should fund abortions. Mostly I think it comes down to personal responsibility on the part of men and women. I’m Canadian but abortion is just a symptom of a real emptiness in North American culture. We had last year approximately 110,000 publicly funded abortions in this country last year but no one really wants to talk about that. Oops I forgot ny Newspeak… I mistakenly said abortion… I meant a "Woman’s right to choose!"…

On the other hand, anti-abortionists will do anything to keep a pregnant woman from getting an abortion, but will offer nothing to assist with raising the child or paying for the hospital birth. Is that fair?

Federal funds are not used for abortion except in very limited cases. I suppose each state can decide for itself whether to use state funds for this purpose.
I oppose using government money for this purpose.

It would be so much cheaper and more reasonable to hand out condoms or birth control before an abortion becomes an option, but many anti-abortion folks oppose that, too.

2. Wars are taxpayer funded.
3. Right or wrong, abortion is a legal medical procedure, and there are many taxpayer funded medical procedures.
By taxpayer funded abortion, I presume you’re referring to abortions requested by welfare recipients. I suppose it’s a matter of whether the abortion people want me, as a taxpayer, to fund the abortion or the anti-abortion people want me, as a taxpayer, to fund 18 years of funding someone else’s kid to be raised to adulthood.
