Why are the Israelis allowed to get away with mass-murder?
It shocks me how much of the worlds governments are scared to condemn the brutal atrocities committed by the Israeli government. In a short period of time, the IDF has massacred over 1000 Palestinians – many women and children.
However, the IDF always says "but they weren’t civilians", they were "militants". The majority may well have been militants, but if that is so, then working by those standards, couldn’t Hitler have simply dismissed the Jews fighting for their lives in the Warsaw ghettos as nothing more than militants?
The Jews seem to think that no pain, violence, devastation and suffering they can inflict on the Palestinians is equal to that of their own suffered in the holocaust, the Jews continuously scratch their own wound, making it bleed more and never heal.
What saddens me is, the Jews who fought for their lives in the Warsaw ghetto uprising will be forever remembered in history as brave freedom fighters, fighting against a brutal occupational regime who seeks to entirely take over.
On the other hand, the Palestinians fighting for their lives in Gaza will go down in history as nothing more than mindless militants.
However, the two situations really aren’t that different. The hypocrisy of Israel and the West is absolutely sickening.
The people of Palestine have been under a brutal occupation which seeks to spell the end of the Palestinians state. The Palestinians are fighting back with everything they have because it’s what any country would do if they were in the same boat.
You people seem to be brainwashed by Fox news propaganda.

They didn’t target civilians, so it’s collateral damage. It’s still sad, but Hamas used many of those civilians as human shields.
Also FYI, Palestine isn’t a country.

I guess for the same reason that Hamas uses their own people as human shields… no one understands the atrocities that happen over their but no one is innocent in anything that happens.
And we support Israel much like Iran supports Palastine… it’s a line in the sand and we all are on one side or the other.
Hmm… considering that I don’t usually watch cable news networks nor read their webpages I don’t think that I am brainwashed by their talking points… and like I said neither side is innocent in the matter. But I also know that the Palestinians LOVE to blame Israel for all of their woes and troubles when they can do the same as Israel and live prosperously. And fighting back with all you’ve got and then using your own people as a shield is not exactly honorable…

They weren’t "fighting for their lives", they were actual terrorist factions within Gaza. And they were using human shields, which is worse, and shows total disregard for the lives of their own citizens.

ummm ok, do you pay attention to the news at all? the people of gaza were shelling southern israel for a really long time, this is retaliation, and the civilians they kill are because the militants are disguising as civilians to trick Israelis into killing their people to make people like you feel sorry for them and call for its end, learn the WHOLE story before making judgments like this, if you still feel the same way ill respect you for it, but until then YOU are the only one who is sickening

You have terrible logic. The Nazis were trying to wipe the Jews out. The Israelis are NOT trying to wipe out the Palestinians. They’re not targeting civilians. The militant they are trying to fight are cowards that hide behind women and children. They dress as civilians. Israel is fighting people who wants to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth.
It’s kind of hard for the Israelis when those "civilians" are shooting at you.
Many of those women and children were used as shields by militants.

Why do you think that Israel attacked the Gaza strip? Because Hamas had been firing rockets into Israel randomly aimed at buildings. Do you think that Israel should just let Hamas be firing rockets into Israel? Israel had given back Gaza to the Palestinians and two days later they fired rockets into Israel. Israel needs to do this because they rockets being fired into Israel will not stop. They need to go in there and eradicate the Hamas. Hamas laughs when Israelies die. They are grieving the death of the palestinians.

A few points:
1. Ever notice that the Palestinians will require 10 of theirs for 1 Israeli prisoner? So they send the message that 1 Israeli = 10 Palestinians.
2. When did warfare become an issue of a "proportional response". News flash: you fight a war to win, and you win by over-powering the enemy with overwhelming force. At least that’s how wars have always been fought before. Not sure why the rules are different for Israel.
3. Jews occupied Israel long before the delerious Mohammed came crawling out of the sand spewing his claim that he spoke to God (Allah). They were also there before Christ. Then they were taken as slaves for centuries. And now all they want is to be LEFT ALONE on a sliver of land that was theirs long, long before the effing Arab Muslims.
4. Muslims use civilians as protection. If we let that work for them, they win. It’s a cowardly means of fighting. Civilians – if you don’t want to die, get the eff out of the way and fight the people who are forcing you to die for them.
5. There is a HUGE difference between TARGETING civilians (as Islamists frequently do) and having civilians get in the way. It’s analogous to killing a deer or a rabbit when you’re driving: there is a huge difference between veering to intentionally kill the animal versus having it just happen.

Dude… just shut up. You don’t know anything about what you’re talking about.
For one, Hamas took over Gaza by FORCE and shot rockets into Israel even after Israel left. In all honesty, Israel should’ve completely occupied Gaza and wiped out Hamas. Hamas actually glorifies the use of their own kids as human shields. I don’t see how you can’t notice those facts.
And also… Palestine was never a nation before 2003. It was called Judea up until Rome renamed the area Palestine. Jews, Christians, and Muslims alike were all called Palestinians until Israel declared independence. Palestine was always a province of another empire and doesn’t deserve sovereignty just because they fire a rocket and cry to the world after they get an air strike back.

I agree…and, have been saying so since Israel became a state in 1948 and began to force Palestinians to leave their homes and/or businesses and become nomads, living in tent cities and being treated like non-issues! For years, Palestinians fought Israeli’s rockets with rocks and stones, while the Gates of Gaza are systematically closed to food and medical supplies which they desperately need. Didn’t the Jews learn anything about humanity in their own unforgivable experience with Hitler?

This goes back a couple thousand years!
It was the Kingdom of Egypt before it was the Kingdom of Israel. There have been 12 kingdoms and one nation since then.
The main people of the land had been there for centuries.
Then right after WWII the US and GB thought it would be a good idea to support the founding of the Zionist nation of Israel. We supported taking the land from the people who lived there. This was in 1948.
Then more land was taken in 1968.
SINCE then Israel continues to take MORE land and continues to commit human rights abuses according to the UN and the Red Cross.
The US gives tons of financial aid to Israel.
Hamas was started in 1987. Anyone who wants to blame Hamas does not know history, which is an unfortunate common state for most Americans.
I was raised to believe it was very wrong to build walls, gates and barbed wire fences, herd people in ghettos, restrain them with checkpoints, bulldoze their houses (this happening still IN Palestinian lands), burn their crops, collectively punish civilians, restrict medical personnel and treatment, restrict basic utilities, restrict food and refuse to allow economic growth.
I was taught to remember these things and that they are wrong. Only I was taught that it is wrong no matter who perpetrates them and no matter who is the victim. There is no justification.
Zionists are doing all these things. The US government is funding them.
