Should those in congress be tried for mass murder?
It’s kind of obvious, since congress (NOT JUST BUSH!) has to take responsibilty in the killings in Iraq, because of lies. Including Dick Cheney.
The congress gave the OK for invading Iraq, and liberating it.

Go hug another tree hippy
They all looked at the same intelligence report and trust me the Iraqi’s were doing a bang up job killing each other before the US stepped in and tried to aid them with a ruthless dictator who DID use Chemical Weapons on his own people
I bet you’d like to choke on your own vomit and have painful searing blisters before you died

Absolutely! without THEIR approval Bush could NOT have gone into Iraq
And let the Inquisition begin on ALL the Democrats who said Saddam had wmd’s BEFORE Bush was even in office

War is war…murder is murder. There’s a difference.
The difference being National Defense.
Gosh, I wish more of you folks had paid attention in school.

Congress ok’d it with false information. Yes, they should have done their homework, but Bush threatened anyone who didn’t follow him. he is a fascist dictator.

But Congress were mislead by Bush and Cheney who had the CIA intelligence reports.
It seems to me that Congress should be doing something about being mislead by Bush , Cheney, Powell, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz.
Bush ’s approach of "it’s my way or the highway" and "you’re either with us or against us" did not allow any debate. The consequence was that Congress had to accept what the Bush Admin said about the risks that Iraq posed.
EDIT: Steven has his facts wrong. There was no UN resolution for war. There were UN weapons inspections in progress when Bush started a war.

Now watch it, many democrats also gave the thumbs up for the invasion too!

No

No – this conflict was Internationally accepted as "just".
The UN agreed with the US threat that Iraq would comply by a certain date of "face dire consequences" – that statement was a declaration or war – failure to follow through would have made us a "paper tiger".
The UN did, in fact, back down when it came down to it, but that is because the UN is a paper tiger –
One would think that, if the current administration "lied" as many keep repeating until they believe it – the overwhelmingly democrat congress would have tried to impeach.
But I speak for those that can hear – I am perfectly aware that there’s just no point in discussing this with some people
EDIT: My facts are correct – resolving that Iraq will "comply or face dire consequences" is a declaration of war – if you can’t see that, then you aren’t looking.

No one is going to be tried for mass murder. Those who believe Bush should be tried are just plain delusional. If, however, he was tried it would only be correct if everyone who voted "yes" were tried as well.

Getting rid of that Dictator may have saved the middle east from a far bigger war.Hitler was Saddam’s hero .Who can say how far he would or could have gone.Had he been left alone.

Those behind advising Bush to attack Iraq are described in the link below, but if nobody bothers to check this public information the guilt will probably be lost in history.

the majority of them are responsible for killing America, so i would vote yes with a few exceptions of some senators who tried hard to defeat the liberals. there were just not enough of them to do so, thanks to some RINOs.
ps. congress had the same exact info as Bush on WND’s, so don’t even go there about them being mislead but that Bush wasn’t mislead also.

Given that congress was told blatant lies by our president’s people, I would say that they are not guilty. The liars are the guilty ones.
