can mass murder be justified in the interest of self preservation? are people just inherently selfish?
consider this scenario
you are given a remote controller with a shiny red button. if you press the button then one thousand random people on Earth will instantly explode in a gory mess. if you choose not to press it then in one hour you will suddenly drop dead.
can mass murder be justified in the interest of self preservation? are people just inherently selfish?
if countries are able to wage war and kill countless people over economic and political reasons then can’t individuals exploit and murder others for whatever reason?

Oh yeah, I would mash that button like I was playing a video game. Hard, fast, and repeatedly. People would be dropping like flies.

Mass murder is a crime against humanity.
There is absolutely no justifications for any kind of crime.

No, I couldn’t live the rest of my life with the burden. I could not. It would be terrible, especially in these times where everything is one the news and media where you would be constantly reminded of the damage you’ve done.
