I heard you can get away with murder if you can pay for the right lawyer. So basically you would pay to not go to jail. Is this true, and what lawyer would be best for an international trial. One single murder, not mass. By the way, Johnny Cochran is dead. lol
Okay I made a mistake with the question. I mean "intranational", it would involve a murder in one US state but not in my home state.
You have high school shootings, college shootings, church shootings, street shootings. Many people die all at one time.
Why so many of these in this country? It is sad… You can almost EXPECT one when you flip on the news.
Is life really so bad in this country that people have to take down 8 or 10 people with them!?
Do you think Cho Seung-Hui would have been able to murder 32 people had everyone been armed? Do you think the benefits of having everyone armed would be greater than the negatives?
Also, if everyone was armed, do you think "friendly fire" might contribute to an even higher number of deaths, when situations like this arise?
There are at least two other countries which guarantee the right to bear arms: Switzerland and Israel. Yet neither one has ever seen one of her citizens go on a shooting rampage like we saw in Virginia this week. Why here? Are we as Americans more prone to violence than people from other countries?
Let’s try reading the question, shall we? I’m not talking about terrorism, wars, or individuals held up at gunpoint. I’m talking about some psychopath going into a restaurant, school, dorm, or theatre with a few loaded guns and opening fire. I have never heard of that happening anywhere but here. If you have, please post a link or at least give the basics of the crime.

I think that the media is biased in their coverage, and in return it weighs on viewers sympathy towards the value of life, depending on nationality.
