In other words, as if to legalize, pro-pot.
I suck at writing good papers, so i need something that is very interesting and catchy to the reader. Preferably an answer from someone who is actually good at writing and is pro-marijuana (optional).

My boyfriend has a brother that use to smoke pot and do other drugs. He says he is clean, but what if he comes over to our house and I see he has drugs. Can i call the cops or will I get in trouble because there are drugs in my house. I have never done any drugs and I do not like them. I think they are stupid and only trasy people do them.

A question was asked here a couple days ago asking if marijuana is wrong or not.

One of the answers mentioned that dealers lace pot so that it is more effective and more addictive so that the ‘clients’ buy more.

I want to ask if people really think that? I am not here to debate if marijuana is right or wrong, legal or illegal. If you want my opinion on that you can read my previous answers.

What I want to say is that dealers dont lace their pot without the consumers knowledge. Why? It costs MONEY to lace pot with other drugs and the consumer is gonna know its laced by the sheer price if for no other reasons.

HOWEVER, being that this is the parenting board, I have to caution that a lot of the marijuana and other drugs that reach your children ARE infact laced. Not just with drugs like cocaine, but with all kinds of crazy crap. Why? Because your teenage or younger children dont know better. They dont realize how dangerous it is, think its funny or cool…
and are generally uneducated about street drugs, and very naive.

Please, everyone educate your children about ALL drugs and the effects and the crazy things they could get a hold of not realizing.

The other drug issue is rx abuse. So many kids today think that if its an rx its safe. Check your med cabinets and count your pills, including the non narctoic ones. I cant count how many times I was offered pills while in high school (I grad in 02, so like 5 years ago). And of course I experiemented, but having some medical knowledge I looked up every pill I took. I cant tell you how many things I saw that couldnt be identified at all and things like heart meds or other such things that had no recreational value that were of very real danger to the person who didnt need them.

Again, please educate your children about ALL drug abuse and the crazy things they can get a hold of.
Major tom, thats the point I am making. They are kids and dont know better. I saw people mix pot with everything from koolaid dust to liquid drano to like I mentioned dangerous perscriptions. Kids are not smart when it comes to drugs. I challenge you to view some of the boards on here that have a lot of teenagers, I challenge you to have an honest discussion with a high school student other than your child (or anyone else that you are an adult figure to, you wont get an honest answer)

It may not be like that in all high schools, but the two I went to and the one my cousin goes to are, plus I watch the news.

i’m 16 and i have smoked pot many o times but some of my friends recently asked me if i wanted to try cocaine, should i? i dont want to get really messed up and i really dont want to get addicted but will it be bad if i just try it once??

In bible study today we talk about how drugs are bad for you and stuff but the guy i like does drugs so i was wondering if theres something i can send to him to try to get him to stopp i really really like him so please make it niice :]
The kid im taking about is 14
his parents don’t care if he does them. and its more then just pot.

I have asked many subtl questions about drugs and all have gotten deleted. But know i have been reading the alternitive meds part of yahoo Q@A and it seems people can openly talk about drugs here. When i said the word "pot" on my other qs it got deleted. Is it ok to ask those sort of qs as long as your in alternitive med q asking area?

My boyfriend is very sucessful and owns his own company. He recently admitted to doing cocaine 2-3 times a year. I freaked out; but I love him. What do I do? I smoke pot from time to time, but never hard drugs. He claims that its not that big of a deal and I am over reacting. Help need some good advice.

We found a glass vile in my sisters room, with a lot marijuana as well, and it has a white residue in it, but I’m not sure if it’s cocaine or not. My parents are afraid of losing their house, and don’t want to bring it to the cops, how can we tell if it is cocaine and what can we do about her drug use in my parents house? Will they lose their house if she’s caught with drugs in her room?
To add to this, she is 30 years old, living off my parents, and doing drugs in their house. She was asked before if she did pot and lied about it, yet had a large stash in her room. She never has money for anything except drugs and alcohol. I don’t think she would be honest if she was asked, and they can’t force her to take a drug test.
My father already flushed the pot, but there isn’t anything left in the vile to flush… also they are worried because she has large knives in her room with her and an explosive temper…. and had warrents for her arrest. She’s the biggest loser in our family, but my parents have been trying to help her get on her feet after her divorce.

my cousin has Schizophrenia from taking pot, i was wondering if i had a predisposition to it, and if takindg lsd would be safe (in terms of developing Schizophrenia)
i do not have a mental disorder, my cousin does, after we believe having taken pot. what i am asking is if i have a predisposition to Schizophrenia because of my cousin, or is that pretty rare

I’m in a debate tomorrow regarding the legalization of marijuana, arguing the affirmative. (By the way, no anti-pot hate, most of those "facts" you hear are a complete load of distorted results of rigged tests or complete fiction anyway.) I know that tobacco smokers often smoke a pack a day. I just need to know how much marijuana smokers smoke. It’s part of a point I plan to make regarding scale and total amount of tar inhaled.
