My mom will need to be in a nursing home indefinitely. I need help in determining the eco-safest way to dispose of old prescription drugs and expired over-the counter medications. I hesitate to flush them down the toilet or put them down the drain, thinking that creates extra problems with water management. Could you help please?

We have been using meth together for about a year now, but I found out I was pregnant and I quit! He swore he would quit too! Instead he lost his job, I had to start working and he just goes and does it behind my back! No matter how much I cry to him that I love him and I will do anything he just wont stop! We recently got into a huge fight and I went to stay with my mom. About 4 days after I left I had an ultrasound to see what the sex of my baby is and we were doing ok I went and picked him up and on the way to the appt. we got into a car accident that totaled my brand new car! He was driving? Me and the baby are ok, but now it seems like he doesnt even care.

My moms friends daughter is 3 months pregnant,she is 31 and has just confessed to her boyfriend that she has been doing cocaine.Can anybody tell me what effects will this have on her baby?I do not understand why these things happen when they have been trying to get pregnant for 8 months!! I would like to get some info for them,her parents have already taken her to a counsler but being a mom myself if worrys me what can happen to her baby.
No this is not for gossip,it is my moms friends daughter,no i do not know her well enough to take her to my doctors,my mom called me and told me to look up on the internet and i ended up here,this is serious,thank you for the responses so far.
As for the baby being taken away,we live in canada and our stupid government seems to let hookers keep there babies if they are addicted,it is just stupid!This girl is a decent women for the most part,this came as quite a shock.

I know a girl that is smoking crack cocaine. She also breast feeds her baby. I didn’t understand why the baby was always crying when she was away from the mom. Today I found out she is doing drugs. The baby is 10 months old. If the baby does not breast feed from the mother, how lond will it take the baby from not being addicted, assuming the baby is.
I have reported this to the child abuse hotline. My daughter is babysitting the child and the baby is in my house. I just hope the CPS comes here before the mother decides to pick up the child.
