What are all the short term and long term effects of using LSD / ACID?

I personally have never done acid or any other kinds of drugs and will never. I am 100% against drug use. However someone I love and who is really close to me use acid and now cocaine, and I wanted to know what all the effects are for this person. I am trying to get them help, I realize that they half to want it themself but I am still trying. Also if anyone has any suggestions on how I can get this person help would be greatly appricated. Thanks!

What are common drugs human traffickers use on their victims to prevent escape?

I’m writing an essay about why victims of human trafficking may not try to escape and one of my topics is being drugged. To strengthen it, I want to include some drugs they use so I can explain the effects it creates on the victims as to prevent them from escaping.
Thanks!
What I meant by drugs is forced drug use, not free drug use from addiction, etc.
As in, drugs traffickers may force on their victims, if any at all.

How can I tell if a white residue is cocaine?

We found a glass vile in my sisters room, with a lot marijuana as well, and it has a white residue in it, but I’m not sure if it’s cocaine or not. My parents are afraid of losing their house, and don’t want to bring it to the cops, how can we tell if it is cocaine and what can we do about her drug use in my parents house? Will they lose their house if she’s caught with drugs in her room?
To add to this, she is 30 years old, living off my parents, and doing drugs in their house. She was asked before if she did pot and lied about it, yet had a large stash in her room. She never has money for anything except drugs and alcohol. I don’t think she would be honest if she was asked, and they can’t force her to take a drug test.
My father already flushed the pot, but there isn’t anything left in the vile to flush… also they are worried because she has large knives in her room with her and an explosive temper…. and had warrents for her arrest. She’s the biggest loser in our family, but my parents have been trying to help her get on her feet after her divorce.

How come in movies, they always show white people snorting lines of cocaine?

I’ve seen lots of movies, and you hardly ever see white people doing any other drugs. I know white people do lots of other drugs, they usually only show them chopping up cocaine, dividing it into lines, and then snorting it. Is cocaine the ideal drug of white people? I think movies should show the whole gambit of drug use by white people. Like currently white people use a lot of meth, but they never show the meth heads, unless its like an intervention show. Is snorting cocaine normal for white people?

What do you think about illegal drugs, its consumption and the war on drugs by the USA ?

I would say "Legalize Cannabis" and trough to the garbage the rest of synthetic crap drugs.
he prohibition of drugs through sumptuary legislation or religious law is a common means of attempting to control drug use and the illegal drug trade. Prohibition of drugs has existed at various levels of government or other authority, from the Middle Ages to the present.

Islamic countries mostly prohibit the use of alcohol. Many non-Islamic governments levy a sin tax on alcohol and tobacco products, and restrict alcohol and tobacco from sales or gifts to minors. Other common restrictions include bans on outdoor drinking and indoor smoking. The United States, Finland, Canada, and the USSR also instituted alcohol prohibition in the first half of the 20th century. While most drugs are legal to possess, many countries regulate the manufacture, distribution, marketing and sale of some drugs, for instance through a prescription system.
Many governments do not criminalize the possession of a limited quantity of certain drugs for personal use, while still prohibiting their sale or manufacture, or possession in large quantities. Some laws set a specific volume of a particular drug, above which is considered ipso jure to be evidence of trafficking or sale of the drug.

Drug possession is the crime of having one or more illegal drugs in one’s possession, either for personal use, distribution, sale or otherwise. Illegal drugs fall into different categories and sentences vary depending on the amount, type of drug, circumstances, and jurisdiction.

In the U.S., the penalty for illegal drug possession and sale can vary from a small fine to a prison sentence. In some states, marijuana possession is considered to be a petty offense, with the penalty being comparable to that of a speeding violation. In some municipalities, possessing a small quantity of marijuana in one’s own home is not punishable at all.

Why Exactly Are Drugs Like Cocaine And Heroine Illegal In The US?

This is not about the moral debate of drug use but rather strictly the legal side. Drugs were not always illegal here as up till the 1930s cocaine and opiates were regulated and taxed.

Why exactly were these drugs made illegal and why do they remain illegal today?

will legalization of ALL drugs stop the drug war in mexico?

Legalize everything and these crazy mexican drug cartels will be out of business!

Is it a good idea or not?

If people are going to do drugs, they are going to do drugs, do you think legalization would actually increase drug use with people that would otherwise not do drugs?

What are the short- and long-term effects of marijuana and for how long should someone refrain from driving?

I am looking for detailed information on the short-term and long-term effects of smoking marijuana and how doing so impairs someone’s ability to safely drive a car or perform similar tasks. In particular, I would like to know how long the effects last and how they may impair someone’s ability to drive. How long must someone wait after smoking until they will be able to safely drive again?

I live in Ohio, a state where relaxed marijuana laws are offset by a "per se" drugged driving law. From my understanding, this means that a person is considered to be driving impaired when any traces of drug use are present in the body. This law presumes that an illegal drug user is under the influence even if it is untrue on the basis that they have already comitted a crime (use/posession) and are therefore ‘probably’ guilty. How do these laws effect drug users who are driving when they are sober?

What do police think about past marijuana use when applying with the force?

I really want to apply with the Police Force, but I have smoked marijuana recently, but I am going to give it up to join the force. I know that drug screen you and I am going to wait till I am clean to apply, but they also polygraph test you and ask about drug use. I am afraid the won’t take me. Does anyone know what they will say about hiring if I used to smoke?
