Is it then considered cheating to use brain enhancing drugs for arts and literature submitted in a competitive capacity?

my friend said that it burns some of the plastic and then u inhale that which is really bad for you and kills your brain. is this true?

I know this person. Someone really important to me. "Mr." is 33 years old and has been smoking daily since he was 15. Its a very long time to be smoking marijuana ( my opinion). Its daily morning, sometimes noon and night. I just want to know what the future of his brain holds.He is living a normal life, really don’t think hes running from anything. Unsure about his daily thought pattern. Is smoking week that addicting? Is that a side effect too? Addiction. Or is it pure pleasure?

Whilst you’re on the trip I mean (not permanently) Especially hallucinogens. What does it do to your brain to make you hallucinate? Like does it release certain chemicals to make you experience something sort of like a waking dream? How does it do this?

I am talking about a person who studies mostly illegal drugs, psychedelics and so on, I guess one might study prescription drugs also. They would do experiments and research the effects of drugs and what the drugs are doing to the brain, what chemicals in the drugs affect the brain…etc.

So what is a person who studys these things known as? For example, psychology is the scientific study of the human mind and its functions….so what is the scientific study of drugs?

I heard it melts something in your brain, is that true?

I heard that after taking drugs like ecstasy, meth and cocaine, human’s brain becomes damaged and having holes. Can it be recovered?

I have tried neither, but for a first time user which is better? And what is each experience like? Is one more "trippy" than the other, and how so? i’m interested in serious scientific explanations on how the perceived visuals are created by the interaction of the chemicals and the brain. i’ve experienced several kinds with excelent results, i’m just curious how the process goes from cause to effect.
