How long will someone go to jail on 42 counts of possession of drugs?
Comments(20)The drugs from the raid include, 3lbs of marijuana, acid tabs and possibly Extasy pills. He had a scale and had the weed bagged up. I just want to know how long he will be away for.

Along time prob 2-20 years if it was realy bad but if u will miss him go viset him…dont pay aten tion to the people who think he should be in there for ever, i think he should be in there for a wiel but the jails are geting to full so it probly wont be forever, just dont think about it.
You should probably cancel your dinner plans for quite a few years unless he knows something reliable about a bigger case…
Best bet is to ask the lawyer on the case what the details are.

With any luck he is unruly and hostile on the ride to his court case, and the cops have to "take action" if you get what I mean. Even if he’s not, I hope the cops do it anyway.
Depends if you have a three strike law in your state and if they combine them or not. If you do have a three strikes law it could be a life sentence.

simple possesion could or would for example not even equell probation thease days in most cases????
It won’t be for 42 counts of drug possession, it will be for X amount of counts of possession for sales.
If he had 3 kinds of dope (large enough quantities to sell) he would pick up 3 charges of possession with intent to sell/distribute.
All 3 are felonies, all prison term offenses in all 50 states. I would have to know the state to know what the sentence could be.

It sounds more like "Possession with Intent to Distribute", and in most states the offense(s) could end up costing the offender 20 years to Life in Prison.
