NO! It was invented by Sandoz Laboratories in Switzerland. In 1938 and was originally intended as a circulatory and respiratory stimulant.
However you may have a point the Swiss were not as neutral as they pretended to be during the war. But my research has not uncovered any correlation to the Nazi party or to Hitler himself.

Too funny! An American, who recently died, was the creator of LSD. Hippies hadn’t even been considered during Hitler’s lifetime, and I can say wiith certainty that hippies didn’t ruin America. Don’t believe everything you hear and only part of what you read (except for this, of course!).
Where did you here that?? In fact, NO, Hitler had nothing to do with it. LSD was discovered in the late 1930’s by a scientist named Hoffman in Basel, Switzerland.

It was actually created in America as a potential cold-remedy. It didn’t work, but people got very interested in it’s effects and even doctors at the time were taking it to "experience" it.
