How do I clean a former meth house?
There is an apartment my boyfriend wants to move into. The people have not been living there for about 2 weeks now. However, when they did live there, they did meth. I am wondering if the meth could soak into the walls and carpet and then affect him. What are the chances of this and is there any way to clean it without having to remove the carpets or paint? Does bleach and household cleaners work, or does the cleaning need to be more extensive?

were they just using or making it? If just using a very good cleaning would probably be enough, carpet drapes or blinds walls windows and all vents especially air conditioner filters etc, if they were making it then I wouldn’t live there until the owners replace carpet repaint and clean up.
As long as Meth was not manufactured there, it should be fine to clean it the normal way. I believe it only becomes a problem when large amounts of the drug are manufactured on the premises
