EntriesI know that most people just wear sneakers, but I’m taking dance seriously so dance sneakers are what I need. I got some old ones from my cousin, we both think they are Leo’s. If I need to, I’ll buy a better pair since these were free.

those should be fine, but capezio, a really great dance shoe company, does make a runner for hip hop.
Any shoes with some grip but not to much grip. Look into casual shoes such as converse or adidas but its ultimately the shoes you feel most comfortable moving in which may be a pair you own rite now.
