Here Kity Kitty Kitty!
<

She gave birth and had been nursing her kittens then she started weaning them they all eat wet food now, but her mammary glands look swollen and feel a little warm… I looked up the symptoms and it sounds like mastitis and I was just wondering around how much it costs to take her to the vet?

Basic office visits will run $35 to $50 for a a good general examination.

Call your vet about the cost of medication.

If you don’t have a vet, find one. Talk to friends, family, and coworkers for referrals

If she has mastitis, then the kittens should not be nursing as they will get infection from the mom. Take her to the vet now to be checked out. If the kittens are eating wet food now, they are not in danger, but still should not nurse on her.

The vet will treat this as a normal exam so just call any vet in your area, get their basic price fee over the phone and make an appointment for her in the next few days. It should NOT wait longer than 3 days.
