I have a 55 gallon tank with an algae eater, 4 platys, 3 zebra danios, and 3 tiger barbs. Everyone seems to be living quite harmoniously, except one of my tiger barbs. It is absolutely infatuated with the bubble curtain! Spends all day and night hanging out in the bubbles, coming out only to eat or get chased and then it’s right back to the bubbles! Kind of like that looney fish from Finding Nemo. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone knows why this funny behavior? Is there something wrong?
I have a 55 gallon aquarium and right now have 7 tiger barbs, what other fish can I put in with them?
I currently have 10 tiger barbs in a 36 gallon tank. I would like to add more fishes. What would be good fishes that would go along well with the tiger barbs? Thnx.
I have a 30 gallon fresh water tank set up and i have 6 small comet goldfish in it, would tiger barbs be ok with them?
I have 3 tiger barbs in a small fish tank and 2 silver bala sharks in a big one (with 2 elephant nose fishes and a bottom feeder). We want to put the tiger barbs in the big fish tank with the bala sharks. The people at the pet shop don’t know if it’s possible/good. Please help us!
I have three black skirt tetras and would like to get some more fish. I heard that tiger barbs are fun fish and are hardy, but I am worried that they might not get along with my tetras.

I hav 6 tiger barbs in my tank

Hello.
I have 5 tiger barbs and 2 small blood parrots in the same tank. I had 7 neon tetras in there too, but the parrots killed them or ate them(2 survived) although they are small. So far the tiger barbs didn’t have any problems with the parrots, and i would like to buy another blood parrot but a bit bigger than the other 2, but still young. Will the parrots be a problem for the tiger barbs, or will it be ok?
Thanks.
I’m looking for foods to supplement the diet of my tiger barbs. I looked on the internet but couldn’t find very definitive answers. I did find that you could give them boiled zucchini, blood worms, and brine shrimp. I had trouble finding a place to get brine shrimp, but sea monkeys are technically brine shrimp so I was wondering if they would be OK.
