Its been suggested that I get a theraputic companion animal for mom. I am concerned that my apartment manager may ask me to move from our "no pets" complex if I do. Can anyone direct me to a website with info on disabled persons rights to have companion animals in California? Is there a specific form for the doctor to fill out? Is there any state or federal licensure requirements? What kind of animals qualify as companion animals? Is there a specific type of doctor to see? Thank for taking the time to read my question.
What do or don’t you feel should be done to enforce animal rights, and what rights do you think they should have? What laws would you like to see made to ensure animal rights? Also, what type of punishments should be dealt to those who break those laws?
I wanted to elaborate on my question, which I should have done earlier. I was refering to people who abuse pets and strays. I see nothing wrong with eating meat or testing vaccines and such. I just meant punishments for physical abuse and neglect. I appologize for not being more specific.
I think that most of them do, and true animal lovers would always play with their pets, and put them in any fun activities that they can. For example, at PetSmart, if you were a true animal lover you would spoil them rotten! Does anyone agree? If so leave a comment!
I mean common by like ducks, pigeons. Wild ones, not like parrots, what are all of the birds that are found around the US that are kept as pets, ones that you can hold and train. not like finches where u watch them.
Under what conditions should animals be used instead of people? Most people anthropomorphize pets. How could this be a problem in the objective study of animals? What ethical guidelines do you feel should be followed in animal research?
I’m in my Summer Session and i really want to volunteer for a animal shelter or just any pets-related places. And i can only volunteer for a short time, like 2 months most, but i can make a lot of commitment. Where can i volunteer? Also, i’m just almost 18, i still need 5 more months to go. I know some places there are age limits so i just want to make sure i find places that let me volunteer. thanks
Unfortunately Black or White will not work because we have pets and a baby and it will get too dirty too fast. We’re looking for stretch slipcovers for our old funiture, and surefit doesn’t have anything great. Also, we have a large black and white painting above the sofa. Please help!
I was thinking burgundy too. I paid so much for the ottoman and I LOVE it, and I did the painting myself so I really want it in there!
I saw it on Open season and I don’t know how people toilet train bears.
I’m not keeping a bear as a pet. I know they’re illgeal as pets.
I didn’t see people toileting trianing Boog, I know that’s an animated movie.
If scientists manipulate genes of tigers, so that when tiger is born it always remains cub size… can it then be kept as a house pet?
I think it can, because size is the only deterrent of making them pets.
When will that happen?
Live in CT own a couple of hens as pets. Just received a letter from the city saying we are not able to have chickens in our backyard. We are in violation of the Public Health Code of the state of Ct. and the town Municipal code. I think that is ridiculous. I would like to get some feed back from chicken owners as pets.
