I have a 30 gallon fresh water tank set up and i have 6 small comet goldfish in it, would tiger barbs be ok with them?

It’s my cousins birthday. I want to get him fish for his 5gallon tank. He has no fish in it. He is new in fish keeping and I can help him but I am not sure about what fish would be the best fish to have in a 5-gallon tank. Please no:

I am looking to buy a couple of fish (besides goldfish) for a medium fish tank. What are some types that are not too expensive? Are there any fish that you should buy in pairs, and if so which kind are they?

I have two goldfish right now with two plants.
I know there is a rule for measuring inches per gallon.. is that from the tip of the tail to their mouth, or just their body length?
Also, what other fish or aquatic life can I put in there to keep down the amount of ammonia in the tank?

Does anybody know if adding a snail would hurt anything?

Two weeks ago, my 9-year-old goldfish died. It was very upsetting, but I’m ready to get some new fish.

I’ve got a 6-gallon tank, and I’d like to get some new, pretty fish for it. I only want freshwater fish, and preferably some that have a bit of hardiness to them. Does anyone have any suggestions on what type of fish to buy/how many? Also, what should I look for when picking them out at the petstore–liveliness, etc?

I currently have two large gold fish in a 30 gallon tank… I need to upgrade them to a 55 gallon tank as the tank gets dirty and needs to be changed weekly. I want to know can I add any thing else to the 55 gallon tank? Is there any fish compatible with goldfish that stay small?

I have 2 telescope eye goldfish in the tank. What fish or fishes can i add to the 30 gallon tank without making it overstocked?

We had a fair-won goldfish who died an untimely death today. My nine year old loved having him and wants to try again.

We are trying to educate ourselves so that we can have an experience with a more positive outcome.

-What kinds of fish will live together well (I have had enough cycle of life chats today to last me for a while, I don’t want to try to explain cannibalism)?

My son wants to start breeding fish, but we only have a small budget. But what type of fish is cheap doesn’t need much and doesn’t lay allot of eggs.

We looked up betta and they lay way too many eggs and we also looked up goldfish and the breeding ritual is too complex.

i just bought a small telescope fish, phil, but he’s lonely. i don’t know what other kind of fish to get to put in the same bowl as him that also eats goldfish food, any suggestions?
