thats exactly what i was thinking: boring. but i have other fish, i guess ill watch those instead.

I have three black skirt tetras and would like to get some more fish. I heard that tiger barbs are fun fish and are hardy, but I am worried that they might not get along with my tetras.

I understand the vegetarian train of thought about killing animals is wrong, so they won’t support it. But, fish are killed too, so why eat them?
I’ve never heard of pescetarian, so don’t blame me for not knowing. I always thought it was basically common knowledge that certain vegetarians eat fish because it’s healthy or something.

When we humans eat fish we have to take out the bones or we choke on them, not to mention it would hurt swallowing the prickly bones. What about bears and other animals in the wild. Do they swallow the fish whole and just let the bones and all digest in their stomach?

Which one would be better? how many of that fish should I get?

I want to get a 30 gallon tank and put some cool fish so I think some tiger barbs would be nice. How many could I put? Could I use an under gravel filter for them? Can I use fake plants? How many plants? Do they eat plants? Thanks!
What kind of flake food would I give them, only meat based or normal flakes? And how often could I feed them baby brine shrimp?

My fish has gotten WAY bigger than when i got it and i havnt fed it alot. Its stomach is bulging, so i dont know if it ate all the food or its ready to breed.

I have many free time on weekdays and weekends.I usually use yahoo answers and play games but I enjoy taking care of birds,cats,dogs,fish,
turtles,and rabbits (Almost all animals).I am 12 and I would like to volunteer for anywhere that needs help like animal shelter or bird shelter (If it exists).I enjoy taking care of bird mostly where can I volunteer? Any websites to find it? Thanks!

I’ve read about this several times and it seems to make good sense. Is this also why the ocean is so polluted? In other words, when fish, whales, dolphins, even fish, flatulate into the water, it causes water pollution similiar to what cows are doing on land?

I currently have 7 juvenile tiger barbs with a few other fish (platys and tetras) in a 10 gallon tank. I’m currently trying to find a larger 30 gallon tank for the tigers, but is it alright if I keep them in there for a few days or weeks till I get the tank? They seem fine with the other fish, no fin nipping or chasing.
