I have lived in the country most my life and i was wondering How can I raise a few chickens in the city. I want just enough for some eggs for my family. i have a big backyard I can use. Does anyone know the rules on chickens in cities??
The cat comes around mostly at night. I can’t catch it to put a bell around it nor do I know who the cat belongs to in the neighborhood to ask them to do it. Plus I read that birds don’t think of the sound of a bell as a warning. I hate seeing the mourning doves and their eggs get killed each spring! Is there a way to catch it or something? Help!
The nest is under the eves below the roof. I have put some cat repellent around the fence top and ground, but can’t get to the roof.
hi i was wondering what type of chickens are the best for eggs?pleas and if you know where i can get them thank you .
They just laid eggs so we will have to wait till the babies are born and know how to fly?
Also we just bought this house from an old lady who says they have lived in the garage for over 7 years so this is generations of birds So Im don’t want to just kick them out in the cold .Should I just say screw it and let them live here forever?
They dont really bother me that much but I would like to close the holes they are getting into.
I mean, there must be millions of chickens slaughtered every day in the world. They must be the most populous bird on the planet because they are bred in vast numbers for meat and eggs. Anyone know how many are slaughtered every day to fill our stomachs?
My zebra fish laid a bunch of eggs last year and I had so much fun raising them. This year they refuse to lay eggs. Anyone knows if I can breed them indoor with indoor light? I read they lay eggs at sun rise and stimulated by sunlight. What kind of indoor light should I use?
2 of my zebra danios have a lump under them that is sort of white. Is it a fungus or disease, or are they going to have eggs?
I was wondering if I can keep chickens in a coup in the suburbs because I enjoy eggs with out growth hormones and I have a large yard. Thanks for your replies!
I have chickens and they stop laying in the winter and I want to make something with eggs..
Just a tip, I like eggs really done, if it is wet in any way it is disgusting.
Thanks!
I don’t eat meat either
Because I know that they are just regular Zebra Fish and then their eggs are injected with like, jelly-fish coloring or something? So what happens when they breed, will the fry be normal non colorful zebra fish, or will they look the same as the parents?
