I know that I should "ask the doctor" and I plan on doing that at his appointment next week but I was wondering what other moms out there have done. My son is 9 months old and has eaten cheese and yogurt with no allergic reaction. I would like to start slowly introducing (2 %) cows milk to him, but I was wondering how some of you started it out. Can cows milk be mixed with formula (half and half) or would that throw off some of the vitamins in the formula?

He’s been on gentlease since 2 months and is almost 12. It doesn’t bother him, but when we mix in 1 oz into a 7 oz bottle, he gets really bad gas. I’ve tried this multiple times and seems to be recurring. I don’t understand how he could have an intolerance or an allergy if he’s on cows milk formula.

could some1 tell me if dark chocolate is made with cows milk,and also if any1 has recipes for egg free cakes and biscuits all welcome, i,m tearing my hair out just trying to find foods that he can have ,he has servere excema on his face and body bless him but he,s still a cheeky chappie,i.ve got three other kids but their fine with all foods .so it,s sooooo difficult.any1 esle out there in my position.
But some moms feed their babies ice cream, cheese, etc, before age 1 when these all have cows milk IN them? I’m just curious, is it the same thing or what..
Yes I know that, but i’m asking if its okay to give babies yogurt and stuff with milk in them before they reach 12 months old..

My baby boy is 6 months old and is formula fed as well as rice cereal. My nurse has advised to introduce him to cows milk by mixing a little in with his formula. The problem I am having is that I am now changing up to 6 poo nappies each day when before hand, he was a "once a day" baby (with normal wee nappies). Is this normal or should I stop and wait until he is older?
I have started drinking Soya Milk and in 2 days I have noticed that I don’t feel as bloated as before but I do have a bad headache? Is this caused by the withdrawal from Cows Milk?
hes 9 months old, 3 months premature. is it ok to use cows milk but not as a drink for him???
im confused as to why i cant use it? the reason it is not giving to young babies is because uts low on vitimans and minerals unlike formula.
by the way my son has been on solids for 4 months.
my 13 month old has been getting constipation since she switch from enfamil to cows milk. She has been drinking it for 3 weeks now & gets constipation maybe every other day. Does any one know how long it will last? Is it ok if i diluted the milk with 1-2 ounce of water?
My first daughter i just switched her in one day. She loved cows milk and my dr said that was fine. But now i am reading that you should do it gradually. So i am not sure what to do with my 2nd child. I gave my little one her first bottle of cows milk and she drank 6 out of 8. So now do i give her formula for her next feed?
