My neighbor’s cat is always coming into our garden and trying to kill our birds or our mice! We’ve tried sonar cat scarers but the cat does its dirt right in front of it! Another thing that bothers me is that this cat always has another cat with it. There’s about five cats that take turns in following it. Is there any way to stop it coming into the garden?
I am looking for an animal that I don’t have to do a lot of exercise with. I want it to be calm and not make a lot of noise.I have cats but I was looking to have another kind of animal.
Three cats, all short hair, tiger cat’s fur is tough to keep smooth.
Somehow there have been a few birds who have managed to sneak into my attic lately. I have 2 cats that understandably have been going nuts.
I have found a couple dead birds already, but now this time I’m in the room when the cats discover another bird. Damn thing is flying around as I type!
Anyway, I just wondered if it was wrong that I’m just letting the cats have at it instead of actively trying to get the bird out of the house? I feel a little guilty about it, but the cats love it, and it’s really something to watch them hunt! It’s like my own private nature show.I mean, if I wasn’t home the cats would have got to it anyway. I could probably still get the bird out of the house if I really wanted to, but catching a bird is like winning the lottery for a cat.
Any thoughts?
I know people call warrior and warrior cats but why bears as well?
I have 3 cats and I brought a 4th cat home from the animal shelter (all females). My problem is the cat from the animal shelter (about a year old) is very aggressive towards the other 3 cats. She chases them throughout the house. What can I do to stop this aggressiveness?
anyone know? we have 2 young cats that are always hunting and killing birds or chipmonks, how can this be prevented besides keeping them inside?
My 1 year old cat meows like crazy if I don’t let him out in the (fenced in) yard. Just lately he’s moved away from his lizard prey to little birds…any advice on how to make them aware of him aside from a collar and bell?
**Please don’t tell me to keep him in.** I understand outdoor health hazards, this is a large fenced yard, the other 2 cats are healthy indoor outdoor 17 year olds.
I don’t need a big lecture on this am well aware of all that stuff. I’m talking 1 or 2 birds in the last 6 months.
They are getting in our living area. They are rather large birds. Brown and grey with a wing span of about 11-13 in. Three days in a row they have come in the house and we have scared them out of a window or door. I cannot determine the type of bird. But they are flying into my mirrors, spraying feces on my furniture, and taking baths in my sink, My cats do nothing but look at me. They are swoopers and really good fan cleaners. They are just a nuisance. I dont want them exterminated, but it has to stop. Please help thanks
Are we only allowed to eat ugly animals? Not that I want to eat dogs or cats, mind you, but why the discrepancy?
