I already own two chickens and we plan on getting more. I also want to get two ducks. All of the chickens will be and are female, so should i plan on getting a female duck? Will the birds fight? Also, can they eat the same food, and if not, about how much is a bag of duck feed and how long would it last for the two ducks?
Is there anything to keep animals away from sprouts or prevent birds or squirels from eating the seeds or destroying the bedding ground where I am planting my seeds. They are becoming so annoying .
Tampa Bay has a load of quarterbacks, and out of them Chris Simms seems to have the most long term potential. Could the bears acquire him in a trade of some sort, and if so what would they have to give up to get him?
My two zebra finches have spent the last three days building a nest inside a nesting basket I bought at Petco, with bits of cotton and nesting material that I also bought there. They slept in there together every night and now today, they’re huddling together on the other side of the cage! It’s like they’re totally ignoring the nest now. I don’t know whether they still want to breed or what?
my daughter washed and dried my sheep skin blanket and now it is matted up, I don’t know if it melted or what but it looks and feels awful. is there anything I can do to restore it?
any help is apprieciated.
thanks& God bless
My little sister bought the unicorn a few months ago (before it retired) and accidentally put the activation code in the pocket of her jeans right as my mom was loading up the washer…the code inside was washed out and I couldn’t read it until now when I held it up to a strong light source. Anyway, she really needs a name, and we don’t know what to name it. If you have any cool, creative names for a unicorn, please tell us! Thanks!
Just wondering what cereals i can give to my 7 month old baby and also if she can have any cows milk yet? thanks all.
Ok, for those of you who say that it’s not a good idea cuz people will put junk in the tank… let me stop that answer right here: My room is quiet and very rarely has more than my roommate and I in it.
Now on to the actual question. I love animals and have grown very restless without my dog back home to take care of. And since I live in school-housing, I can’t bring in any animals other than fish. So I decided to look around in that area.
I was planning on purchasing a 10 gallon fish tank (AquaTank X Plus- it is Acrylic and comes with 15-watt lighting, a 50-watt heater, and a Power Filter system for .99). But I don’t know what else I would need. I am willing to do some work (cleaning out the tank once a week would coincide with my weekly cleaning schedule anyway).
How can I stock the tank to be both beautiful and easy to manage at the same time? I should also probably mention that I’m not quite willing to spend too much over -80… I am a college student after all!
Would tiger barbs be alright to put in this tank? If so, how many and would I be able to add more fish? I know Tiger Barbs need to be in schools of 3-5 or more…
I suppose I should add this:

My mum has a dog which she loves, my horse on the otherhand doesnt get along with it. The horse I had before used to be great friends with the dog and now the dog doesnt understand why the horse chases him and tries to stomp him. Is there any safe way that I can get the horse to accept the dog? I would like to be able to trust her with the dog and to one day even take the dog out with us when riding. Any advice would be great, Thanks.
Like a person who cares for exotic animals and other animals found in a zoo medicaly, what is the name of that job?
