i like everything about google chrome except for the download manager because you cant close that page.

Pretty self-explanatory; looking for a shortcut key specifically.
I mean just using the Chrome application. Due to security concerns, it is not permissible to log into accounts while at work. I just need to add a bookmark (and I see that you can import bookmarks from Mozilla or IE but I just need to add a new one to Chrome).

I can open a new tab using a center click on a link. The tab is created but remains inactive and must be clicked to bring to the front. Is there a way to automatically bring it to the front when created with a link?

How come that Google Earth has updated Lebanon and Israel ’s images to much higher resolution only 2 weeks prior to the current conflict???
I have a flat located south of Beirut airport, when I tried to located it with Google earth on the 14th of June 2006, the images were blurry with no particular details.
Less than 2 weeks later, I revisited the the same area and saw the map was updated for most of the 2 countries with clearer and much higher resolution.
War in that particular part of the world started few days later???
